Rachel I. Viglianti is a Shareholder at the firm. Ms. Viglianti brings innovation and determination to assist her clients in a variety of matters ranging from complex multi-party cases to individual health care provider credentialing and administrative matters. She practices mainly in the areas of medical malpractice and health care litigation, medical licensing, staff privileges and credentialing, and dental malpractice litigation. She has been recognized repeatedly by Super Lawyers as a Rising Star in Maryland and Washington, DC and Washingtonian Magazine Top Lawyers.

Ms. Viglianti is originally from the DC area. She graduated with a Bachelor of Arts from Lafayette College in 2004, where she majored in History and minored in Anthropology and Sociology. In 2007, she received her Juris Doctorate degree from The Catholic University of America, Columbus School of Law. Ms. Viglianti served as a judicial law clerk for the Honorable Terrence J. McGann of the Sixth Judicial Circuit of Maryland. After her clerkship, Ms. Viglianti joined Wilson, Elser, Moskowitz, Edelman, & Dicker LLP where her practice focused on medical malpractice, dental malpractice, employment defense, and general liability defense work. Ms. Viglianti joined Gleason, Flynn, Emig & McAfee, Chartered in 2010, became a Member in 2018, and promoted to Shareholder in 2023. Ms. Viglianti is a member of the bars in Maryland, the District of Columbia, and New York.

When not at the office, Ms. Viglianti can be found watching football with her family and rooting for the New York Giants.
